Chiropractic approaches & technology

Precision approaches. Purposeful care.

No two patients arrive with the same history, anatomy, or goals. Our doctors choose the methods that fit the person—not the other way around.

Care starts with understanding

Specific when it matters.

Every recommendation follows a consultation and examination. Imaging is used only when clinically appropriate, and no patient is placed into an automatic treatment plan.

01

Chiropractic Care

Supporting the relationship between the spine, nervous system, and whole-body function.

Chiropractic is about more than temporarily addressing the place that hurts. The spine protects and interacts with the nervous system, which helps coordinate movement, sensation, recovery, and the body’s response to daily demands.

Our doctors assess for areas of neurological or biomechanical dysfunction. When a chiropractic correction is appropriate, it is selected and delivered with a specific purpose. The goal is to support better function while respecting each patient’s comfort, anatomy, and needs.

Patient-friendly careWe explain what we find, which approach we recommend, and why—without fear-based language or unnecessary jargon.
02

Blair Upper Cervical

Detailed assessment. Individual anatomy. A highly specific correction.

Upper cervical chiropractic focuses particular attention on the top of the neck, including the atlas and axis vertebrae, and their relationship to the rest of the spine and nervous system.

The Blair approach recognizes that anatomy is not identical from one person to the next. Detailed examination and, when clinically appropriate, imaging help the doctor understand the orientation of an individual patient’s joints before determining an appropriate correction.

What makes Blair different

  • Focus on the upper cervical spine
  • Attention to individual joint anatomy
  • Detailed examination and analysis
  • Specific, controlled corrections

Precision over force

Blair care emphasizes accuracy and individualized decision-making rather than aggressive or generalized manipulation.

03

Torque Release Technique

A gentle, tonal approach centered on neurological function.

Torque Release Technique, often shortened to TRT, is an instrument-assisted chiropractic approach. A specialized handheld instrument delivers a quick, very specific adjustment at the location and direction selected by the doctor.

TRT is considered a tonal approach because it looks at patterns of tension and nervous-system function, not only the position or movement of individual joints. For patients who prefer to avoid traditional manual twisting, popping, or cracking, it provides another way to receive chiropractic care.

What “tonal” meansIn everyday language, tone describes the level of tension or readiness in the body’s neuromuscular system. Tonal chiropractic considers those patterns when deciding where and how to adjust.
04

Activator

A controlled, instrument-assisted option when clinically appropriate.

The Activator is a handheld chiropractic instrument designed to deliver a fast, low-force impulse to a specific area. It gives the doctor another way to make a focused adjustment without relying exclusively on a manual technique.

Activator methods may be chosen based on the patient, the area being addressed, and the doctor’s clinical judgment. As with every Summit approach, the recommendation begins with the findings from your examination.

05

Digital X-Ray

Imaging with a clear clinical purpose.

Digital X-ray can provide important information about spinal structure and individual anatomy. When imaging is clinically appropriate, it may help the doctor evaluate findings more completely and plan a more specific chiropractic approach.

Not every patient needs X-rays. The decision is made after the consultation and examination, based on what is appropriate for that person’s presentation and care.

Technology updateSummit is upgrading its digital X-ray equipment. Additional details will be shared after the final system is installed and verified.
06

Spinal Decompression

Non-surgical traction delivered in a controlled setting.

Spinal decompression uses computer-guided traction to gently change pressure through selected areas of the spine. It may be considered as a supportive option for some patients with disc-related or mechanical spinal concerns.

A consultation and examination help determine whether decompression is appropriate. If recommended, settings and positioning are selected for the individual rather than applied as a standard protocol.

Part of a larger planDecompression is not automatically recommended for back pain and is not right for every patient. Your doctor will explain the reasoning, alternatives, and expectations.
07

Class IV Laser Therapy

Focused light energy used to support tissue recovery.

Class IV laser therapy delivers light energy to a selected area as a non-invasive supportive therapy. It may be used to encourage circulation, cellular activity, and a healthy inflammatory response during the recovery process.

Laser therapy may complement chiropractic care or another recommendation, depending on your examination and goals. We do not present it as a cure or a replacement for appropriate medical evaluation.

  • Non-invasive
  • Targeted application
  • Supportive technology
  • Selected case by case
